Chamber Fee Invoicing, 18% Legal GST & Dynamic UPI QR Payments

Generate professional fee notes, itemize appearances & clerkage, and collect payments directly to your bank account via UPI with 0% fees.

Step-by-Step Instructions

1

Configure Chamber Billing Profile

Navigate to Settings > Chamber Profile. Enter your Chamber Name, Bar Council Enrollment No., Office Address, GSTIN (optional), and bank UPI VPA (e.g. `advocate@icici`).

2

Create New Case Fee Note

Inside the case file, tap 'Billing' and click 'Create Fee Note'.

3

Itemize Legal Professional Services

Add billing line items: Drafting Fee, Senior Counsel Conference, Court Appearance Fee, Out-of-Pocket Expenses (Court stamp paper, certified copies), and Standard Clerkage (10%).

4

Toggle 18% Legal GST Calculation

If your chamber is registered under GST, enable the GST toggle. AdvoKosh automatically computes 9% CGST + 9% SGST (or 18% IGST for interstate clients).

5

Generate PDF Invoice with Dynamic UPI QR Code

AdvoKosh generates a vector PDF bill embedding a dynamic NPCI UPI QR code pre-filled with the outstanding amount, invoice number, and your UPI VPA.

6

Dispatch via WhatsApp & Record Payment

Send the fee note to your client via WhatsApp. When paid, log payment mode (UPI/Cash/NEFT) to update the client's balance ledger.

Expected Outcome

Zero payment gateway deductions (100% of fee arrives directly into your bank account) with transparent professional accounting for clients.

Important Points & Common Pitfalls

  • Entering an unverified UPI VPA ID in chamber settings, which would cause client payment apps to report recipient not found.
