AdvoKosh Privacy Disclosures

Technical documentation of data storage, system permissions, and external service interactions for AdvoKosh.

Governing ApplicationAdvoKosh (com.advokosh.app)
Verified On-Device Sandbox

1. Local Data Storage & Sandboxing

All business records created within AdvoKosh—including customer profiles, transaction amounts, items, notes, and calculation logs—are stored exclusively in the private sandboxed storage of your Android device (Room DB v4 with SQLCipher 4.5.4 (256-bit AES-CBC) & Android Keystore MasterKey).

VaidikTech does not operate or maintain any remote server, database, or analytics infrastructure that receives your records. Your data remains strictly within your physical possession.

2. Network & Internet Usage

Internet Requirement: 100% Offline-First; Sovereign Chamber Privacy (Zero Remote Telemetry).

Zero telemetry, zero Firebase, zero analytics. Client records, litigation strategy, and fees never leave the device. Optional manual features (BYOK Gemini 2.0 Flash AI, Surepass eCourts API, NPCI UPI intent launch, and services.ecourts.gov.in web views) initiate solely upon explicit advocate tap.

When you initiate an action that contacts an external application (such as sharing a receipt to WhatsApp or opening an official court portal in your web browser), that communication is governed by the privacy policy of the receiving external application.

3. System Permissions Declared

The application requests only the minimum set of Android system permissions required for user-initiated features:

  • USE_BIOMETRIC: Enforces local biometric App Lock to safeguard confidential legal case files and client privilege.
  • RECORD_AUDIO: Used strictly for on-device speech-to-text dictation when dictating case diary notes in court. Audio is transcribed locally and never uploaded.
  • POST_NOTIFICATIONS: Triggers 7-day, 1-day, and 2-hour court hearing countdown alerts.

4. Data Backups & Encryption

AES-256-GCM encrypted practice backups (.akb format) with PBKDF2 (65,536 iterations). Manual export/import via Android Share Sheet to SD card, USB OTG, or private Google Drive.

We strongly recommend regular exports of your backup archives. Because your database is not hosted on a cloud server, VaidikTech cannot recover your records if you lose your device without a prior backup.

5. Privacy Inquiries & Data Rights

Because your data is stored entirely on your device, you have complete and instantaneous control over its deletion. Uninstalling the application removes all sandboxed database tables from your phone.
