1. Acceptance & License Grant
By downloading, installing, or operating any application distributed by VaidikTech (including Girvi, JewelBill, and AdvoKosh) from Google Play, you agree to these Terms. VaidikTech grants you a non-exclusive, revocable, non-transferable license to operate the software on your authorized Android devices.
2. Local Data Custody & Backups
Because VaidikTech applications are engineered with an offline-first architecture, your databases are stored exclusively on your physical hardware. You are solely responsible for creating and safeguarding regular encrypted backups.
VaidikTech has no access to your records and cannot restore data lost due to device damage, theft, factory reset, or forgotten encryption passwords.
3. Specific Professional Disclaimers
Girvi (Pawn Shop Manager)
Girvi is an organizational calculation and ledger application. It does not provide banking licenses, financial lending approval, or legal counsel. The merchant is solely responsible for compliance with local moneylending legislation, statutory interest rate caps, and customer pledge notices.
JewelBill (Jewellery Billing)
JewelBill generates commercial invoices and computes GST estimates based on user inputs. It does not guarantee statutory tax compliance, official GST filing correctness, or replace the professional counsel of certified chartered accountants or tax advisors.
AdvoKosh (Advocate Case Diary)
AdvoKosh is an administrative case diary and drafting assistant. The application does not provide legal representation or legal advice. Petition templates are provided as starting frameworks and must be reviewed, customized, and verified against applicable statutory laws and judicial rules before court filing.
4. In-App Subscriptions & Billing
All purchases, subscription renewals, and refunds are processed through Google Play In-App Billing subject to Google Play Terms of Service. You can manage or cancel your subscriptions at any time directly within the Google Play Store app under “Payments & subscriptions”.
5. Limitation of Liability
To the maximum extent permitted by applicable law, VaidikTech shall not be liable for any indirect, incidental, or consequential damages resulting from the use or inability to use the applications, including hardware failure, data loss, or business interruption.
