How to pair an ESC/POS Bluetooth receipt printer with your Android device for instant counter billing and receipt generation.
Step-by-Step Instructions
Power on Thermal Printer
Turn on your portable 58mm (2-inch) or 80mm (3-inch) ESC/POS thermal printer and ensure Bluetooth pairing LED is flashing.
Pair in Android Bluetooth Settings
Open phone Settings > Bluetooth. Locate your printer device (e.g. 'MTP-II', 'RPP02', or 'POS-58') and pair with PIN (default '0000' or '1234').
Select Printer in JewelBill Settings
Open JewelBill > Settings > Printer Configuration. Tap 'Scan Paired Devices' and select your printer from the list.
Configure Paper Width & Raster Logo
Select paper width (58mm or 80mm). Toggle 'Print Shop Logo' to enable high-contrast monochrome bitmap logo rasterization on thermal paper.
Execute Test Print
Tap 'Test Print'. The printer outputs a test voucher with shop credentials, character test, and a scannable sample UPI QR code.
Expected Outcome
At the checkout counter, tapping 'Print Thermal Receipt' prints a compact, professional receipt with barcode and UPI payment QR code in under 2 seconds.
